Our children get a health check up every 3 months. Once per year in the Dhulikhel Hospital, and three times per year in the health post next to our home. When our children are sick, we tend to them and when necessary, we take them to the Dhulikhel Hospital.

We have created a health post, just outside of our home in a separate building. This is because the people of this area were facing various health problems. Even for the most basic treatments, they had to walk on foot for 3 hours to Chautra. Unfortunately, this lack of health facilities caused many women’s and children’s lives. Taking this problem into consideration, the health post was installed by Mitrata. There, we give medical service to our own children but also to the local community. We raise awareness with the local people on subjects as hygiene, childcare, and birth control.
